yes you can play poker for real money, the companys are not allowed to operate in the US. But they can be owned by a US interest in a foreign country with a foreign service provider. They would probably ask you for a credit card number and how much you want to put in. What I would do is play for fun first and see if your any good at it before you start gambling with the real money.
