For a research grant, I need a reputable information source that provides the number of children who die each year from life-threatening/life-limiting illnesses (or at least children who are diagnosed with these conditions). I have found some statistics from the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network, cancer websites, etc., but I'm still looking for more. Any suggestions on where I can look? I also have access to scholarly journal databases (i.e., PubMed, PsycInfo) if you know of any article references. Thanks!
