War is a necessity. Plain and simple. If we were able to get rid of war, what then? A country, or its leader, would look at the world and realize this one simple truth, "The rest of the world is to weak and pathetic." And guess what? They would conquer, kill, rape, and pillage. And why? Because we would be to 'civilized' to stop them.
Remember what Hitler did? He knew that Europe was a weak and pitiful part of the world; so weak they gave him nations within Europe to avoid war. It is the fault of France and England that Hitler gained so much power and killed so many; if they had stood up and fought from the get go there wouldn't have been so many problems.

All the people in the world would have to be peaceful at the same time. you can't get a large peace prtest together without them throwing rocks at people and spitting on them. I mean if PEACE protesters can't be peaceful. It sounds like the start of a bad joke.
2) Once you are not willing to fight some othwer country will invade you and your country will be ravaged.

Nobody wants war. In civilized countries, such as America, diplomatic solutions are sought first. When these fail, military action sometimes is the only solution.

Everyone says human nature as an excuse for their personal drive to want to kill people.

Good for them.

I've got an idea.

How about you and me and all other smart peaceful people go live on some other nice happy planet while these terrible people stay here and kill each other.

I reject the idea that it's human nature, or that because it's always been it must always be. I think we can evolve beyond war and it's root cause: greed. "When" and "if" are the real questions.
