The same reason you don't see any baby birds, they are still in their nest.

You don't see baby pigeons because there in their nests. Baby pigeons nests are really high up so you wouldn't see them in a nest. Baby pigeons don't leave their nests until they know how to fly, and by then they'll look like adults.

Pigeons have their nests at the top of buildings, railway stations etc. The young birds stay with their parents until they are fully fledged and grown. Its usually only one baby in the nest as the strongest literally tips its brothers and sisters out of the nest. A case of the strongest survives

although we see alot of pigeons around towns and cities, the average pigeon is a shy and retiring bird, the nest will be under a railway bridge or the like. when the baby pigeon is ready to leave the nest they alrready have the full adult plumage, unlike a bird such as the seagul that leaves the nest with juvanile colour plumage(the dark, blotchy grey) therefore you do see baby pigeons, you just don't realise it because they look exactly like their seniors!

becuse by the time you see them they are fully featherd and flying . They will not leave the nest area before the can mannage on ther eown. I breed doves, so I can acctualy recongnise a baby Pigeon some times, from the way there beaks look and they have very nice and clean feet.

I think most baby birds don't leave the nest until they are older, and then they already look like adult pigeons.

I would like to see a baby pigeon though, now that you've mentioned it. I bet they are fuzzy and cute :}

You see but you cannot make the difference if you're not expert. Baby pigeon and their parents are the same size.

Because pigeons keep their nests pretty secret... the babies are born and kept out of reach from predators (including people!) until they are old enough to fly. At that age, they are roughly the same size and weight of their parents. Its a clever survival method....err, thats it!
