I have bulimia, actually I've had it for 5 years. I've tried fighting it, but somehow it keeps relapsing. How do I tell my boyfriend and my parents that I relapsed again? They have suspected that I have because I have lost 20 lbs in less than a month. My parents have said that if I start again, they will prevent me from seeing my boyfriend. I love him, and he loves me. He knew that I was probably gonna get sick again and he said he'd help. How do I tell him that I'm sick? I don't wanna lose him.

You need to just be honest--if he loves you then he isn't going anywhere--get the help you need now!!! If your not around then how can you love your b/f--your family is wanting the best for you and if he is the problem then you will be better off w/out him

Tell him how hard it is to fight this and that you need him to help you be strong. Tell him about your fear of losing him and he'll hold on tighter. Bulimia is serious and you should seek help, not fear it.
