dog problems?

i recently got a bull masvie who was abused by its past owners.The dog used to come or nudge me if it had to use the bathroom.I have him on time schudle about four times a day but recently he goes bathroom on the floor.Or if we gets excited he uses bathroom. I dont want punish him but is threre a altenavie.

Don't punish him! When he gets excited and urinates, it's probably submissive urination. Urinating can be a dog's way of showing their submission to you, so if you angrily punish them, it will only make the problem worse because they will try to show their submission more by urinating more. If it is submissive urinating, then be careful not to get him too excited and don't speak in harsh, angry tones. Also be careful not to tower over him when you pet him.

It's also possible that he has a bladder infection and has a hard time holding his urine. Take him to the vet to have a check-up. If he's not already neutered, then make an appointment as soon as you can.

Another possibility is that it's a housetraining difficulty. In this case, I really recommend buying him a crate and following the housetraining advice in the article in my source list.

try buying him a house put it a room a nite leave him alone 4 a while let him out 4 2 minutes or so try to calm down play time! my dog has the same problem abusive owner and all it worked for me hope it works for you!

he's getting used to you,so now he feels like he can run you over a little since you don't beat him. you have to set a certain ''tone'' in your voice that will symbalise when you play, and when you mean business .
