Instead of getting processed chicken nuggets or chicken strips, make your own version. Tastes much better and is much better for them. What I do is I buy chicken cutlets, cut them into strips, then I season the meat to my taste. Dip the chicken in vinegar, add bread crumbs and a little flour together in a bowl and then bread the chicken with that mixture.
Then fry them in a little bit of oil. You can also add a little sugar tot he oil after the oil gets hot, to give the chicken a sweet flavor.
Its really good. Tip, you can add sugar (not a lot) to anything you are frying and it really gives it a sweet nice flavor that kids like.

Well I am a picky child! If they like salad you can put chicken on top of the salad, you could make fried chicken or you could take a cookie cutter and cut the chiken into different shapes then bread them with bread crumbs and fry them in a pan! It is just like McDonalds, Wendys or Burger king!

Chicken Tacos. Use shredded plain simmered or broiled chicken, shredded cheddar or Monterrey Jack, chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes, cut cilantro (don't cut cilantro to small), onion (sliced long green onions are milder and better on chicken, I think), I like sour cream. Just use a dollip of all that they choose on theirs. Just put everything in little bowls on the table and they all build their own if the age is right. Don't forget the guacamole: Just mush the amount of avocados you want with a fork in a cereal size bowl and add garlic salt and fresh squeezed lemon juice, not too much now, ha, and that is basic for you. Also have bowls of hot sauce (Pace-kids like Pace) and tortilla chips (great for the avocados and hot sauce, too.) You can melt cheddar on the chips under the broiler for simple nachos (don't all kids love nachos/), simple is best. Microwave a small bowl of canned re-fried beans (salt, pepper, drop of olive oil or water stirred in), too, for more protein. Let's see, did I forget anything?...how about a lovely plate of fresh fruit slices such as Oranges, Mango, Star Fruit, Kiwi. Serve tacos on crispy taco shells or a fresh hot flour tortilla rolled up with all the stuff in it (put a tad of butter on that tortilla). This is a healthy meal with new things to try and the fun part makes kids wanna try new things. Just don't make a big deal out of it if they hate my meal, LOL, just kidding. Banana pudding for dessert. Milk.
Another one. Slice a good whole grain bread from bakery. Add (health food store, real) peanutbutter on one slice, add a sliced apple one the other slice, trickle honey over both slices, put together and slice in half or 1/4s.

Making your own hamburgers with the chicken steaks/fillets you buy (similar to Subway's) and the kids can do their own fillings. But you can't go wrong with chicken nuggets and bits.
Or if all else fails, just serve whatever and tell them to eat or no dessert.

It depends on what they are picky about! If you make tuna helper with chicken instead that is good. Or fry it, who hates fried chicken? Chicken and dumplings is good.
