that seems a little worrying. is he an artist? or does he just tattoo? i go to a custom tattoo artist and he has consistently come up with ideas that impress me. you can always look on ratemyink.com

it all depends what you do want. i am planning on getting a new tattoo, a turtle. so first i googled "tattoo designs" and looked through the turtles. i found some things that were similar to what i kinda wanted, then i google image searched "turtle tattoos" to see what other people got tattoos of to see if it was something what i had in mind. i took those ideas and came up with a rough sketch of what i wanted. then i had someone else draw an outline for me. hope that helped!!

please don't go on-line to find your tattoo. what you can do is go to someone (other than your husband) who knows how to draw really well and explain to them what you want then when you have there drawing on paper it will be easier for you husband to see what you wanted. it would be a much better tattoo if it was yours and not something that is on the Internet where about a million other people see it and get it.

You can browse tattoo designs on tattoojohnny.com. If you find one you like you can also pay a minimal fee and print it out on your printer. You can resize it as needed. I went there and I found just what I was looking for. You can also see what other people have had done on bmezine.com. That might give you some good ideas. They have all different categories of tattoos on there too...
Good luck!

I found my tattoo on tattoojohnny.com....I know it says you have to pay but I found my way around it and was able to print it off and take it to show the tattoo artist.....
Simply find the tattoo you like, then click download my tattoo. When the screen loads you should be able to copy the little picture of the tattoo and then save it and make it bigger in the program of your choice.
And of course depending on how much detail is in the tattoo, the picture may be fussy when blown up.
But I am sure that your husband can jsut kinda copy it and sketch it out himself with the help of the printed copy!

Try tattoofinder.com.
If you choose a design from the site, you have to purchase it from the artist, but it will give you a lot of ideas.
