this is a personal choice and decision that you and only you can make and need to make for yourself as religion is something that people hold sacred to their way of life and you are the one who has to live your life not anybody else besides why should you do something and join a religion that you don't agree with just to please others by doing that you are not being real to yourself and therefore you will be miserable the best thing to do is read up on all the different religions that are outh there and narrow them down to what meets your values and make a decision based on that

Religion is a very personal decision. As parents, I think it is our responsibility to raise children with some form of religion and faith...so that they have a frame of reference. But as children grow and develop their own minds, it is important for them to develop a good and sustaining relationship with God. And sometimes, that means they find a different Church or religion in which to worship. Perhaps it means no religion at all. But it needs to be a mature, thinking individual's decision. Being forced into a religion brings no good to anyone.

Finding one's religion is part of finding one's self. What you choose or don't choose to believe is completely up to you. Do the research, look into things, find out where you belong and what makes you, you.

God has given you that ability....
of course, that is a two-edged sword.
religion "per se" is of very little importance.
what is important is YOUR personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
don't get hung up on "religion".
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Yes, most definitely, yes. It is best to choose of your own accord, not because someone says you can be saved from going to hell by being in that religion or whatever. Pick with your own free will.

God gave you a brain to think for yourself. It would be pointless being part of a religion that you didn't believe with your own heart. It would be a lie to yourself & to God.
Whichever path you choose, I hope it eventually leads you to Jesus Christ. Obviously as a Christian I believe He's the only true path to salvation.

You have that choice. But you will also be held responsible for the choice.

What does your religion guarantee you of what you will have here on earth and what happens afterward ?

I'd encourage you to consider which religion draws out the best in you and others. What encourages you to be true to your best self?

Of course, but the bible says that only a few people will make the right choice, so choose carefully.

That is the ONLY way it should be done. Just get all the facts first. Zealots are like real estate sales people. Their mantra is, "I can get you the best deal".
