Freshly polished jump boots(circa 1953 or earlier), Irish Wolfhounds running, making chain mail and Damascus steel, finishing a new model or drawing, reading a book or five before the weeks over with. Sitting back and watching the fire burn down in the fire pit out back. Watching snow fall onto the trees. sitting in the living room with my lover and just doing nothing or anything we do or don't want to do. UPS(brown) paper packages tied up with string...these are a few of my favorite things.

Hi!
My kids' soft warm cheeks every night when I go in to kiss them goodnight!
Getting into a warm (electric blanket) bed when it's freezing outside!
Cream crackers with butter and jam on them!
My dogs' soft furry ears!
Watching Malcom in the Middle all day Sunday with my youngest son!
Winning an item on ebay at the starting price coz I'm the only bidder!
A whole packet of Fruit Pastilles or Love Hearts all to myself!
My Ipod - coz there are ABSOLUTELY no songs on it that I don't completely LOVE!
And questions like this - coz you've made me feel all lovely and warm inside thinking about all of the above!! Thanks for that!!

Faded photographs, pages from old love letters. The locks of hair from my wife and kids. Rainy days, Sweet smells that trigger memories. Children that run into my arms when they are empty. Star fill nights, spectacular Sunsets and that special head on my shoulder at the end of the day.

Being with my lovely boyfriend, spending time with friends and family, hot drinks on cold days, to name just a few.

Watching the sun's reflection in the lake chasing me as I race home on Lakeshore Drive ... it's beautiful ... my daughter is 4 and she even takes the time to notice how pretty nature is ... appreciate the things around you ... !

When out of the blue, my hubby takes my hand in his and gently kisses my wrist as were walking or driving side by side. He still takes my breath away...
I love the smell of Newborn babies that have just been bathe. So clean, pure, and smelling of baby lotion. Or sweet puppy. Their willingness to snuggle and lick u to death! Just so innocent and caring.
