Every idea we have about cause and effect has only been tested in this universe, and not in even most places in this universe.

How can anyone then apply this logic that things need a creator to something outside the universe?

Of course, Real Friend, you're right! Sorry! Nothing comes from nothing. Even if I create a superdooper clay model, the clay existed before that. even if I have a baby, the sperm n egg and nutrients existed before that. Cheers.

this is why:
I believe God created our "space-time" universe. Since God is not subject to his creation, God didn't require a "beginning" unlike his creation (God exists outside of time), God is also infinite (outside of space). The universe can't be started w/out the time dimension, therefore, I believe that God was the first "cause".
Think about is this way, A computer programmer is not subject to the functions of his program

Lack of evidence? like lack of evidence of evolution you mean? Don't think your ignorance is any sort of evidence. Playing dumb may come natural to you but the problem is with you not others. If you think the finite universe doesn't need an infinite cause them prove it. So far scientists have only been able to prove that the universe cannot have created itself. Neutrinos move faster than light so even science and causality itself can be wrong. You should probably read the big bang and understand what that statement means. You should read about stellar nurseries too and understand what it means if there is no higgs boson. The creator does not need a creator as he is infinite. infinity cannot be created it can only ever exist. It's not my fault you failed at advanced mathematics and can only parrot off what you read from others opinions. God being infinite cannot have a creator else he's not God. You just don't get it so stop humiliating yourself you pretentious armchair academic.

Just why does the universe need a creator, Bucky? For your information time is just a measure of change and there was no beginning nor will be any end. There is just change. Try reading more than one old philosophy.

Heraclitus of Ephesus (c.535-475 BC) Greek philosopher
Everything flows, nothing stands still.
Quoted by Plato in Cratylus, and by Diogenes Laertius in Lives of the Philosophers Book IX, section 8
Variants: Everything flows and nothing stays.
Everything flows and nothing abides.
Everything gives way and nothing stays fixed.
Everything flows; nothing remains.
All is flux, nothing is stationary.
All is flux, nothing stays still.
Nothing endures but change.
From Lives of the Philosophers by Diogenes Laertius
Variants: There is nothing permanent except change.
The only constant is change.
Change is the only constant.
Change alone is unchanging.

It's basiclly because of the fact that everything in 'this universe' has to be created, a watch, a TV, whatever. But the real truth and trust me this is the inside scoop is that people believe because they feel something, whether it is that is that there is a god/God or that there is a giant packet of Salt and Vinegar Crisps living under their bed.

Deal with it

Actually, the existence of a creator itself would disprove that the universe needs a creator. Meaning that the creator, a very complex being, obviously came into being without a creator, so why would anything else need one? In fact, it is proof that some things happen and exist without one.

Many people do not understand this, they think they are being clever and they are not. By defining a God as existing outside of the universe, outside of the space time continuum, you make him non-existent. If he existed outside of the universe then he could have no effect whatsoever on this universe and would be for all intents and purposes non-existent, blind, and impotent.

I'm not sure...but that is also an incorrect assumption from experiences inside the universe. So inside or outside of the universe that's an incorrect thing to say.

God's confirming that His promises are true concerning this life(by bringing them about) gives me assurance that that which is unknown to all human logic and understanding is true also.

Who has anything better?

John 6:66-69
6 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

67 "You do not want to leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve.

68 Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God."

Nothing is actuaklly created just rearranged... a car is rearranged atoms like a rock carved by the wind...

Much is simply interacting.

And evolutionoccurs in organic matter... bit like if you walk bare feet you get tough feet.

A metal car is not organic so does not adapt.

Or evolve.

The universe had a creator. The Big Bang had a cause. God transcends not only space and time, but your logic as well.
