A tenure-track professorship in the field of computer science or cognitive science.
I have three genuine passions: Learning, Research, and Teaching.
I love to learn what is out there, to understand what has come before. When two ideas come together in that bright moment of revelation, it's as if for a moment your mind physically expands out and touches the whole universe and you spend the rest of your life looking for the next revelation so you can feel that rush again.
I love to research, particularly in neural sciences, cryptography, transhumanism, etc. I want to help build a future the human race will be proud of when evolution on Earth and elsewhere produce new self-aware and conscious beings, so that we can be honorable and worthy teachers and mentors to those races and species that come after us.
I love to teach, to share my passion. Too many students flounder and wilt in the class room because the teacher doesn't love the topic, they understand it. To teach you must have passion, you must have drive, you must truly desire that the student won't just get information from you but that you nurture their own passion for it. If it isn't worth doing with PASSION, it isn't worth DOING!!!
