I was successfully operated on September 25th 2006.I had a Bilateral leak so i have lost my sense of smell.The doctor says the smell may or maynot come back and if it comes then it may be only 20%.Can neone with similar problem help me.Will i ever get my sense of smell back??

the brain is one of the least understood parts of the human body, everyone's brair has different areas that control different things. No two brains are alike. There is evidence that suggests that over time, another area of the brain can take over the defective part of the brain's activity. it all depends. You will know if you get smell back, but no one can tell you ifyou will or not.

Unless you've been in a horrible accident you aren't leaking csf from any orifice. It may be congestion. Try any over the counter sinus medication.
