I've never gone on a date where wm date wears a dress or skirt. I know that wearing a dress on a date is a little taboo. I really like the feminineness of women and could appreciate a cute skirt/dress. How many dates does it take to get to the dress/skirt stage, and why?

I think if it doesn't happen right off, it won't. I stopped wearing skirts in highschool, and I think a lot of women forget they even exist. Dresses are sexy, thanks for reminding me!

Where do you take the date? Most women won't wear jeans to a place that is not appropriate to do so.
If you want a woman to dress up then you need to dress up as well. Some women prefer the comfort of jeans some women like skirts dresses etc.
If the women you are asking out prefer jeans either ask different women out, or ask them to go with you to a place that would cause them to dress up.
If it is someone you have dated for a while then let her know your preferences if she cares enough she may make the effort for you. On those dates where she is wearing jeans what are you wearing? A suit? Dress slacks? Jeans?

Well in my case.. I always wear little feminine yet comfortable clothes on dates, I usually go for a cute skirt and top or basically go for a little black dress and heals. To me, I wear those things to make a lasting impression on my date.. to show him the goods while not giving him everything and making him want more for next time. It appealing and it makes me feel sexy, mind you all this is on a first date. I usually resort to the jeans and the tees once I feel comfortable enough around him and I know that we're past the "getting to know you" level, yet I still go for the skirt/dress most of the time, it's just my thing.
In all honesty it all depends on the person you are dating, most women feel comfortable going on dates with skirts or a dress while others feel comfortable wearing jeans... :)

You can try taking her someplace that's a bit more formal, but dress codes are getting more relaxed everywhere nowadays, so this may be hard to do - at least hard to do without spending a lot of money (and having to wear a tie and a jacket yourself - hey, it's only fair!).
After you go out on a few dates, you should feel comfortable enough with a girl to confide your preference for women in skirts to her. (If you don't feel comfortable enough to ask this, maybe you should stop dating her.) She may agree to indulge you, but then again, she may not. She might get irritated if she doesn't like the reason for your request. You'll have to take the chance, and take it on a girl-by-girl basis.

Depends where you are taking your date. Some occasions require casual wear which is more comfortable. Try taking a date to a place where the dress code is to be dressy. I can understand how you would like for a girl to dress more feminine. Now a days girls do lot like guys. Good luck to you!

It's not about the number of dates, it's about the girl. I, for one, never ever wear skirts--I just feel uncomfortable in them. And I HATE HATE HATE how I look in dresses. Try asking out a girl who is WEARING a skirt, she will probably wear them more often.

Depends....on what you are wearing and what we are going to do.
If you are wearing jeans, so will I.
If we are going to ride dirt bikes or go to a car show, I'm wearing jeans.
If we are going to see Phantom of the Opera and dinner at Tony's, I'll have on a red dress and heels.
I might wear a skirt to a baseball game, but not a nascar race.
You have a better chance of seeing me in adress or skirt if we are going somewhere nice and you are "dressy"

Could be dating a guy?? Just kidding! It's so much more comfortable in jeans. Maybe they don't have a skirt/dress? Why don't you just ask them and tell them what you said here?? If you tell them how a women in a dress makes you feel, they may give it a shot.

Make sure you take her somewhere where she has to wear a dress/skirt, and it also depends on the woman you are asking out!
