I think you'll find that if you do a little research evolution makes far more sense than 'intelligent design'. You can either accept the rigorous work of hundreds of scientists over hundreds of years or you can listen to what someone wrote thousands of years ago...

I think human knowledge has come a long way in that time. If the Intelligent Design theory (and I use the word theory in the loosest possible sense, as it is NOT a scientific theory) was better than evolutionary theory, then evolution would have been scientifically rejected.

No, no longer 10,000 years - the two 6000 (4004 bc to 2007 advert) or sixty 5 (if, as some have faith, the universe grew to become into created on November thirteenth, 1942, by using 4:20 am, with all thoughts of human beings residing, all books recording historic past, and all records buried in the floor have been created by using God at that factor - only as proveable as creation.) Darwin and evolution don't think random - they have faith environment pushed - many alterations only a number of which improve and stay to tell the tale the species.

This is about the only thing science and religion can agree on. Science says we evolved from lifeforms in the primaeval ooze. Genesis says God made man from the slime of the Earth.

The problem with man is that sometimes the slime shows through.

Whoever told you we came from slime is a slimeball!
However, we evolved from something, and if you like to think of it as slime, then ok. Whatever turns you on! It would have been nice if god had created us, but I'm afraid there is no such thing!
And it is no longer a 'theory'. It is a demonstrable fact that we 'evolved'. Unfortunately, we didn't spring from the earth in all our glory. You and me, with our terrific, taut, six-pack bodies, we took millions of years to get to that! Ok, you can quit laughing!

Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.... Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in His own image. Male and female He created them.

This is not religion my friend, it is gospel truth. Fact.

The deal is, to look at all of creation - from the stars and planets to the depths of the seas, and everything in between, and say that there is no God, and that He didn't create all of this, is just plain stupidity. Come on!!! Look at all of it, and tell me that we "just got like this." - God gave you a brain, and He even gave you the ability to ask this question, so you could know the truth.

Be blessed by His creation, and ENJOY!!! :-)

Well the truth is the earth is over 4.5 billion years old. The truth is there is proof of early humans that look nothing like Adam or Eve. Did we come from slime? I don't believe that anyone knows how it all started for sure.

How could I not use common sense, that is where my therioes usually come from. I have written programs that learn, adapt and change to make moving easier, so I think evolution has a pretty good way of describing things like this.

Science does not tell us that we came from slime.
Atheistic religion tells us that.

Any idea about origins can only be a hypothesis - not subject to the scientific method since the origin of life cannot be observed, tested or repeated.

In fact science points to the impossibility of evolution - goo to you.
