Well there's this one guy and he's like really popular. We're friends, but not like really close friends. I barely ever talk to him because I'm shy around guys I like. I heard another girl likes him and might ask him out. He might say yes, I'm not sure, but he might. How can I get the courage to ask him out first? I don't think he really likes me that way though, but I want to know if he'll go out with me. Please help me!

You could like walk up to him and like ask him "What time are you going pick me up to go to the movie?" and he's going to say something like, "What are you talking about?" and you'll say "You don't want to go to the movie with me?" and he'll say "Yeah I want to go to the movie with you." and you say, "So what time are you going to pick me up to go to the movie?" and he'll say "6:45" and you say "Cool see you then." It's like too easy.

Don't ask him out but let him come to you. Flirt or just look really cute. Or you could ask him out and if he says no, then pretend to be relieved and say it was a zap or dare or something.

Let him be the man and ask YOU. Don't ask him...it'll make you look cheap and easy. Part of the game is the chase.
