saw this guy for the first time in 6+ years, and ended up sleeping with him.
I don't want that kind of relationship with this guy, beacuse I really like him. I am making it a point to not go to his house alone or be anywhere in private with him to avoid this from happening again.
I am usually not the type to keep a good conversation going.
My question is.... What can I do now to get this in a better direction?

What are somethings that I can bring up to chat about?
Is there anything else I can do to make this better? Please help!

Then be honest with him and let him know that even though you guys had sex, you are more interested in a deeper and meaningful relationship. Leave the decision up to him whether that is something that he wants to pursue.

if he deals good wiht honesty... just be honest. Tell him you'd rather be good friends than friends with benefits. He may be a little upset but just keep in touch. Or just tell him you have herpes and he won't ever come back. =). JK. No but just be straight and tell him that, if he is a typical guy like me, he'll get the message.
