I thought matter makes up everything. My science teacher says that there are some things that aren't made up of matter. What are some of these things? I'm not sure I get what my teacher is trying to say. Some examples/websites explaining would be helpful. Thanks!

Some things that aren't matter is heat, light, sound, space, etc. Everything that does not have mass.

Gravity.
Energy and Light were thought to be non-matter. But I believe they are being renamed?
How do you measure matter?
Anything used to measure matter can not be matter.
I believe weight is a way to measure.

Everything is made of matter except for theoretical anti-matter.
