my daughter does this one month she wants only juice, and the next month she wants only milk. i give her the milk in the morning with some life cereal and tell her all the milk has to be gone before she can have juice. it took a few times, but now she drinks all the milk, then gets her juice! we bought those bowls that have a straw on one side and she thinks it's fun!! good luck!

It may just be a phase. Don't give in to the juice too much, it's a lot of sugary, wasted calories. Tell him he has the choice of water or milk, I bet he'll drink the milk over water some of the time. Don't add chocolate to the milk, that'll start something you'll never be able to end.

here's something to try that I haven't seen yet. Mix the juice 1/2 and 1/2 with water or more. My son doesn't really care for juice when it is like that so he chooses milk more often. When I feel he has had enough for the day then I let him have real juice. Worked for me!

Well, if you were 2 yrs. old what would you want: The plain milk, or the sweet & sugary juice?
Kids are like that, get used to it! Try slipping in milk whenever possible. Put more dairy into his diet. Does he like cheese? What about yogurt? As long as he's getting enough calcium, it doesn't matter what form it's in!
Try giving him chocolate or strawberry milk. Maybe add food coloring to his milk and make it his favorite color. Does he like cereal? Cereal and milk is always a kid favorite too.

My son is the same way here lately, and he is 27 months. You just have to tell him the juice is gone, and make him drink milk or water. If you give him juice mix it with half water. I know my son started liking the sport top water bottles or cups and he will drink milk from them. Maybe you can try that too.

Start drinking a glass with him. He is going for the juice becuase it is sweet. You can also try mixing it with ovaltine. Its better then regular chocolate, it has more vitamins. What I do with my 2 yr old daughter is have her drink milk with her meals. Just explain to him that he can have Juice afterwards. They understand more than what you may think.

when my kids did this I would just give them juice in the morning and after that it was milk in the sippy cup. Eventually they got the hint that they weren't going to get anything else. If I had to I would put chocolate or strawberry suryp in the milk to make it more appealing. God Bless

he must of gotten fed up on the plain milk, try chocolate milk(milo) both hot and cold to see if he changes, then try gradually to bring back the plain milk. but both of them are quite good for him.
if it doesnt help at least try other kinds of juices, not only orange( if that is what he wants) it can be to acidic.
apple and cranberry juice is really good for him... try it!!

Try the Ovaltine or Horlicks, full of goodies and a different taste to normal milk, or add a milkshake flavour to it.
