Most mouthwashes are alchohol based,so nothing but a upset stomach may occur.your mouth is trying to compensate for the alchohol's drying effect

Nothing will happen. The mouthwash has a small amount of alcohol in it, but when you swallow a little of it, nothing should happen; perhaps you might a little dry mouth after.
The reason for the saliva is that the mouthwash is drying out your saliva glands for a few seconds while you use it, so that when you spit out, any saliva in your mouth goes with it.
That's normal.
Drink some fluids.

Not a big deal for an adult, but for a small child it could cause trouble because it has a high alcohol content. I don't know for certain about the saliva issue- but perhaps ithe Act irritates your mouth and the extra saliva is your bodies way of trying to rinse away the irritant. My sister is allergic to cinnamon, and any rinse that's red with a cinnamon taste makes her wheezy, so it could be anything.

a little bit shouldn't affect anything...

I drank a 1/2 bottle of mouthwash one time on a bet...it just gives you an upset stomach and you burp mint all the time.

Probably would be really bad if you drank more.
