Yes flank steak can be used in stir fries. Buy a ready made marinade in the market, slice the meat diagonally and thin, and let it sit for at least one hour. Then heat oil in a wok or fry pan and stir fry quickly. Serve with rice.

Flank steak is actually one of my favorite cuts of meat. The trick is to cut it thin, keep it in it's own juices and not overcook it.

Either stir fry, quick broiling or BBQ on a grill works well. Again, watch it closely and don't let it cook too long or it will quickly toughen up...

i think it would be okay as long as its sliced right and you pound it with a mallet first. there are a lot of fibers in flank steak.
