Im 21 years old I work full time at a bank and go to college full time. Sound like a nice guy right? I've been abusing opiates since I was 14 and Shooting heroin for the past 3 years. I've been clean for 74 days now and I would say NO Heroin doesnt make you crazy. I still work and still go to school no one knows the difference. The only thing that could make some go crazy is the withdrawals I've done some very desperate things while DT'ing and this past time I'm glad I had medical help. Other than that you couldn't tell me from your preacher. NO IT DOESNT MAKE YOU CRAZY!! We are people just like everyone else.

Uh, no. Heroin is a semisynthetic opiate. It is prescribed by doctors as a painkiller all over the world. The United States is one of the few places where it's completely illegal. Heroin, morphine, codeine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and most of the other semisynthetic prescription opiates used by medical professionals are all non-toxic. Compared to over the counter painkillers like aspirin and Tylenol, they're harmless, as the OTC painkillers cause stomach and liver damage even at low doses and provide hardly any pain relief compared to opiates.

The only mental problem caused by heroin is addiction, but if you can financially support your addiction (ie. insurance pays for it, or you're rich) then addiction isn't going to make you go crazy.

It's freebase cocaine that makes people go crazy, in my book. Heroin's not a very good idea, though, all things considered.

It made me crazy, though I didn't realise it at the time, I thought people were just being mean, all I fixated on was my next fix. Horrible drug, horrible life, I must have been crazy to have risked so much!

I wouldn't describe it as health food, and it may be OK clinically supplied under medical conditions, but as a black market narcotic quality controlled by crime syndicates its a killer.

my best advise for you is to stay clear dont touch the thing its a dirty drug and only scumbags take it. if you know anyone who does tell them they need to seek help and advise on giving it up other wise lead a dark life.
