Is expedia way to book online vacations?

You can use them, but I have found that thier "deals" really aren't that good and most of the time I can get good deals dealing directly with the Airline or Hotel.

I agree with Chipper. I use those sites for research only and then book directly with the hotel chain or airline.
Try AAA.com. they have a lot of good deals. You have to be a member though.
