At a soda fountain in a drug store in Mount Olive, KY there was a drink called "Lemon Ice". Does anyone know how to make this drink? It has been described as "crushed ice with a sweet lemon mix poured over them.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but that could do for the "sweet lemon mix" you're looking for (has to be diluted, though). I got this recipe from a Turkish friend.

Ingredients
12 lemons
6 tablespoons sugar
1 glass water
lemon slices
Heat the sugar and water until the sugar is dissolved completely, and allow to cool.
Squeeze the lemons. Combine the sugar-water with the lemon juice, and stir.
To serve, add enough water.
Garnish each glass of lemonade with lemon slices if you desire.

Frosty Lemon Ice
Ingredients
1 cupBoiling water
1 pkg.(4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Lemon Flavor Sugar Free Low Calorie Gelatin
1 cupChilled lemon lime-flavored seltzer
1/2 tsp.Grated lemon peel
3 tbsp.Fresh lemon juice
Preparation
STIR boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in seltzer, lemon peel and juice. Pour into 9-inch square pan; cover.
FREEZE 3 hours or until frozen. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes.
BEAT with electric mixer or blend in covered blender container on high speed until smooth. Spoon into dessert dishes. Store leftover ice in freezer.

if you dont have a ice shaver I dont know, but I have a ice shaver and if you make frozen lemonaid not so thin... I love to pour it over the shaved ice.
