No, I believe what he means is, what idiot bought the half a set from the wife. Considering it was only half a set I agree that it would be stupid to buy it. It was a very valid question and I think it was better than "was it wrong to sell half my husbands clubs'' because all that question did was attract golf widows or women golf haters to say, "no, i think you were right to do it".

There are a few ground rules that should be set which I require my missus to adhere to!

You can spend my money, you can use my credit cards. You can make yourself at home in my house, you can even have sex with any one you fancy - but - you don't touch my beer and you keep your interfering hands off my golf gear!

Sell half your husbands golf clubs - good grief, what is the world coming to!

No, you're the idiot. He had a full set and his wife sold HALF of them.

Here's an example, your dimwittedness. The guy had 14 clubs, his wife took away 7 of them. 14/2=7.

Oh, I get it now, well, the guy could have had 7 irons, which would be half the set. Or, a driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, 3 wedges and a putter. The possibiliteis are endless.

If my husband sold my clubs, I'd buy more and charge his Visa.
He'd never do it again, once he saw the bill.
