Honda Accord 2003 Stereo

I had this same problem with my 2003 Honda Accord. I called the dealership, and they said the problem is not a fuse, it is in the computer board behind the radio. They said it would cost around $300 to fix it. I also have around three Cd's stuck in it. Not wanting to pay that, I went to Best Buy and bought a double din radio that was on sale, and had them install it. You also have to buy the kit so the radio will fit. They also installed a sirus-xm radio, and it has blue-tooth capability. I can now use my cell phone, freehand with it. This cost more than the $300, but at least I am getting more than just a computer board that is not guaranteed to keep working. I also bought the warranty with the radio, so when I decide to sell the car, the Geek Squad at Best Buy will take out my new radio (as it is not going with the car), and install the old one, free of charge.

no longer lots factor having the codes pulled for the verify engine mild - there's a reasonably great electric powered concern, so the codes would be bogus besides. There are 2 considerable suspects - the battery and a floor, tremendously the engine floor. the two may well be undemanding to envision whilst the equipment is appearing up yet intermittents willpersistent you nuts. The engine floor is easy sufficient to envision, clean and tighten. i don't be attentive to approximately your 2003, yet older Hondas had a 2nd cord from the battery destructive terminal to the chassis and a smaller cord from the valve cover to the chassis. the two way, that is nicely worth cleansing and tightening. The battery is greater challenging, yet a voltmeter length of the AC around the battery terminals could teach below a million/10 (0.a million) volts AC. A intense stable voltage (i've got seen as intense as a million.7, yet 0.3 to 0.5 volts AC is greater person-friendly) generally ability a bad diode interior the alternator whilst a extensively fluctuating AC voltage greater generally ability a broken connection interior the battery. If the battery is the unique this may well be an magnificent time to interchange it yet while that is greater moderen that is advisable to inspect greater.

take the knob for the lights and turn it. On Some vehicles, this will control the lights for the inside of the car and for the lights on the panel (the panel lights which light up when you turn the car lights on).

My 98 Chrysler van has a seperate round knob and the lights for my radio went out. I thought something had broke till I accidentally tried to brighten up my instrument panel lights and viola, my radio panel lights came on. lol

its probably a blown fuse. Alot of cars have the 2 fuses for the radio. One for the lights ,and the other for the rest of the radio. The one for the lights is normally connected to your panel lights. You can check yourself, just look at the fuse box, and look for the panel lights or interior lights.
