They would start some minutes after you have the dairy... half an hour maybe. Yhe time it would take to get to the intestines... You burp a lot, stomachaches.. and in general bad digestion. It's a problem where your body is lacking lactase, the enzyme necessary for spliting up lactose.. you can't digest it, so it causes trouble.

Sometimes you will have an upset stomach, but vomiting and/or diarrhea are the most common symptoms. As for how long after eating dairy products, it can be anywhere from 15 minutes to a day after. Personally, I have problems if I eat pizza w/extra cheese, almost exactly 30 minutes after eating a slice or two, I am in the bathroom w/diarrhea (I am also allergic to wheat and dairy products, so I shouldn't be eating the pizza anyway. Why do things that I can't eat taste so good?). Ice cream has the same effect.

An upset stomach, pain , constipation, diarrhea, depends on reaction to it some time after 15 mint to 1 or 2 day later. Get lactose free or goats milk from Tesco. you will find benefit from this.

It's very simple: From what I've read, within 30 min you feel cramping, gas, and discomfort. Feel like a balloon.
Within 2 hours you s*** like a dog. (And it STINKS!)
Then you can feel like a person again.
The more milk stuff you ingest - Well, the more you become a rocket scientist.
And less a stock market investor in toilet paper...
