About Sylvia Browne?

Question

What do you think of Sylvia Browne, do you think she is a real psychic...
Personally, i belive she is..and i just wanted to know what everyone else thinks!

I really don't think she is. Her answers seem to general anyway. She maybe alot more intune with certain things, but I don't think she possesses anything different than what we are all capable of doing.

She has her moments but think pretty vague in her predictions, even if Montel thinks the world of her. :-) If you are acutely aware of human nature by just looking at people you can figure out what they want to hear.
As far as finding things, well how many times have you found something in the back of a drawer or closet?
Personally I just don't think a real psychic goes around doing stuff for money; let alone books and tv shows. Most don't even let anyone know about their gift because it really takes a toll on them physically and mentally.

If by "real psychic" you mean that she has psychic powers, of course she does not. No-one does.

Sylvia Browne is a deliberate fraud. She operates the usual ways - cold readings, hand-picked gullible audiences, editing of TV tape, predicting the past rather than the future, etc. If she were ever stupid enough to allow her claims to be tested, you'd quickly see that she has no psychic ability.

I want to direct this to believers and skeptics.
I think that people are quite frankly wasting their time trying to prove or disprove of Sylvia Browne or other psychics, etc...
What good will it do? Honestly?
I do believe that people can "see" things that are unexplainable and that the spirit world DOES exist. In one way or the other.
She chose to do what she is doing and that is her decision, wether she is right or wrong.
If you believe, then keep believing and move on with your life and spirituality. It is YOUR decision.
If you are a skeptic, that's fine. Believe what you want and move on. Putting up web sites to try and ruin someone's life and think you are helping others is a waste of time.
What is important is that you believe what is in your heart.
Just let her be.

I like to beleive it. It is fun, maybe she is, maybe she is not, but I like to hear what she has to say. Naturally she cant be right 100% of the time, but either are scientist, no one is. As for people who say it is wrong to change people, money, no it is not, she has to make a living like everyone else. Dont doctors and hospilats chaged money? Frankly, I like Sylvia Browne.

Sylvia Browne is someone that the Bible warns us to stay away from. She has demons providing her information. Some demons know a little about the future or where a person who has been killed was buried...etc. She is not getting her wisdom from God.

Professional magicians can do just as good a job of "psychic reading" as the self-proclaimed psychics can. I recommend you read James "The Amazing" Randi's book, "Flim-Flam".

I've read some of her books, personally she's a bit too much of a white lighter and too new age for my tastes.

No, there have been many instances where she has been proved to be a fraud and caused damage to real investigations, as well as really hurt people emotionally.

i think she can more or less sense something is wrong or going on with a person and just kinda feeds off of what she is told. she just tells people what they want to hear. i don't think she is really psychic.
