Royal Energy Tea from beeroyalproducts.com. It has bee pollen, freeze dried raw honey and green tea. I don't know why it works but it cures a sore throat almost immediatly it will also give you a little boost of energy.

lemon and honey in your tea
suck on any hard candy
drink lots of liquids

the best thing is Halls vapor drops, they numb your throat.
it's 1.89 a bag, and the lemon honey is really good!!
Just ask someone like a friend or nieghbor or family member to do you a huge favor, and pick you up the gold bag of Halls throat drops. *they are the best, and over the counter*

Anything you suck on, like hard candy will keep your thoat moist.
I like to drink gatoraide, or tea with sweet honey in it.
the sugary-sweetness of honey seems to coat the throat!

are you anti-medications? Or can you just not get out.

Halls vapor honey lemon drops got me thru 3 days of aweful cold/sore throat. in fact, i didn't even know my throat had gotten sore, cuz they numbed it out, i used them for their vapor action.

Good luck!

try drinking tea. the warmth will help it sooth the throat. try Lipton tea with a tsp of honey and a slice of lemon. it really helps. it won't do any harm to the fetus b/c the tea does not contain any medications.

Try eating crushed ice. The ice will help the inflammation that is causing the soreness, and it is also safe for your baby.
