Rice Krispies. Great recipe♥ !

3 tablespoons butter.
1 package marshmallows.
6 cups of Crisped rice cereal.

Grease a baking pan. Enough for the Rice Krispies. Preferrably 9 x 13.

Melt the butter in a sauce pan over low heat. Add the marshmallow and keep stirring until all the marshmallows are melted.

Work quickly - Take the pan off the heat and dump in the cereal. Fold it into the marshmallows until combined. Quickly, pour the product into the greased pan and let it cool for about 20 minutes. Cut and serve.

Hope this helps !

Don't know how old your kids are but these are simple and would give them something to do. 2oz of raspberries, 2oz of strawberries, 2oz of blueberries, 2oz of blackberries. 2 tbsps of sifted icing sugar and 50z of raspberry yogurt. put fruit and icing sugar into a saucepan and cook over a gentle heat forabout 5 mins or until fruit is soft and mushy. Puree the fruit and sieve. then stir in the yogurt. pour into ice lolly moulds and freeze. ice lollies take a long time to eat so they'll be busy for a while.

Put some minced beef in a pan, add a chopped onion and a dessert spoon of mild chilli power, and cook till mince browns a bit (i.e. no blood left!) then add small tin of tomato soup and smallish tin of baked beans and simmer for short while. Serve with rice, or potatoes baked in the microwave. My kids loved it.

How old are the children? For small children Cheerios works. You can also spread peanut butter on either saltines, Ritz crackers, or celery for older kids. You can also take apple slices and put peanut butter on the slices.
