Is bacon just like the greatest thing ever? I mean, it goes with pretty much everything, is totally greasy, delicious, and awful for you (unless you're on Atkins). Can anybody really think of a better food?
Also, what to you think of deep-fried bacon-wrapped bacon?

Heart Attack on a Bun:
Split an all beef hot dog down the center, stuff with sliced American Cheese, wrap with a piece of bacon and secure with toothpick, immerse in deep fryer until bacon is golden brown. Serve on a hot dog bun with all condments.

you've hit the nail right on the head, bacon is the best thing that was ever been invented!!! i love, love, love bacon. i would gladly try that deep-fried bacon wrapped bacon on a piece of buttered toast or a biscuit. heck serve it up with grits and eggs too. even better give it to me as it is.

Even better, bacon wrapped shrimp or scallops. YUMMY!!!!!
and yes, I'm on Atkins - so I can eat all the bacon I want - but I don't.... I'm more into lean proteins, but I do indulge once in a while!

I used to hate bacon. When I was kid, I was only ever served hard, crumbly bacon. Yuck!
Then I met my husband. His Mom makes terrific, melt-in-your-mouth bacon. I have since learned to cook it in the oven. Comes out great! Very little clean up & no splatter!

Yes, bacon is awesome. Unfortunately it doesn't go with my diet but there is always that ever so flavorful turkey bacon.
