I have looked at dozens of websites to try and find a place where I can rent floral china (specifically tea cups, saucers and dessert plates) for my wedding. Since my fiance and I am unable to pay for a full sit down dinner I am having a tea-style reception, with punch and tea and tea sandwiches and cake. Since we are going easy on the cost of the food by going to a tea theme I feel I can afford to splurge just a little bit and rent floral china, unfortunately I haven't found a place to do that with. Any ideas? We are having out wedding in the Pasadena CA area.

have you tried calling one of the places that you did find? Possibly they can arrange for special items that aren't necessarily listed on their websites. Here's one that looks promising

Rent. If you're going to have a quintessential NY wedding or any wedding for that matter, rent the china. You have guests arriving and no point in being cheap. Have a classy wedding. It's something you'll remember forever. If you have plastic, might as well put giant trash cans at the end of each table so they can throw away their plates and cups. Not to mention all the crumpled up paper towels all over the place. It's only appropriate to have disposable dishes if you plan to have the wedding at the park on a blanket with bbq grills and volleyball nets and uncle larry in a tank top, shorts and a paper bib so he doesn't get sauce on his chest.

It is possible to rent ANYTHING in SoCal. If you need a good event planner, hit me up. I have a friend in Santa Monica.
