We all have the right to do what we want to in our own bedrooms with consenting adults; but we don't necessarily need to share what we do with everyone else in our life. Put yourself in your grandparent's shoes: do you want to know what he or she gets up to when the lights are off and the mood is right?? I know that your sexuality is an important part of your identity (I am bi too), but not everyone will share your enthusiasm or willingness to discuss it, and you should respect that.

Have you actually kissed a girl? It's so in fashion to claim your bi. Everyone is doing it. Kiss a girl, then worry about other things.

Just move on to a different subject. They do not have to understand, and frankly probably don't want to. This is only a issue because you are making it an issue. No one cares, only you.

Stop trying to explain that part of your life to them because they will never understand. Be a grand daughter to them that they know and are familiar with.

we all want to please our parents and family. but the truth is you cant live your life to please everyone. if you do so you will never truly be happy in anything you do. if this is who you are then go for it. all that matters is your happiness and well being. if grandma doesnt understand talk to her and tell her she doesnt have to understand but that she needs to know thats who you are and to be considerate of that fact. if she will not agree then you will have to leave her be and give her some time, its her lose if she wants to be out of your life because of who you are. good luck and always be who you are!

i dont think anything u say will help them understand. they are who they are and have been raised the way they were and dont know the feeling of being with another of the same sex. thats not their thing! but im sure they love u no matter what but they dont have to like or agree with it.
