We don't get along very well. We don't have enough in common, theres a lot to it but bottom line is I'm ready to break up and he is begging me not to leave. I'm having a really hard time with this because I care about him to, it's just not working out. Any advice?

I am in the exact same boat, literally, it's the same.
It was sooo hard for me to do because I love him very very much but we just don't get along. We can't be together (rather, he can't be with me) yet he refuses to be just my friend. He of course is fine with the friends with "benefits" relationship and I am not. My resolution sucks a lot but it's really the only way, just ignore him and eventually he'll go away. Life goes on.

Yeah, break up and move on with your life. Tell him you care about him but it's not working out as a relationship.

I've been there just a few months ago. Flat out tell him I know its gonna end up hurting him, But if its for the best then do it dont drag your feet on it cause he will just fall deeper and deeper in love with you.

leave him and tell him to get over it and if he crys you'll take pics and laugh harsh?definately ok try this just end it and ignore his pleas go tell all your g/fs that its oveer between u 2 so he cant be like no she didnt break up with me or oh i broke up with her so he can seem like the big macho tough guy
