Try going towards your shoot ... that might help you to actually reach there ... and Spend a little less time asking others "What should I do?" try making some decisions by yourself once a while. By the way the question is in the wrong section according to my understanding.

I would not be late for something like that..I'm assuming you had good reasons?..tell the truth if something went wrong and was beyond your control, otherwise if it was your fault ( laziness, overslept because of partying), you should move on and hopefully learn from the mistakes :)
