1. Saute onion and garlic on a saucepan until the onion is translucent..
2. Slice red and yellow pepper into think stripe. Add to the saucepan with the cooked onion and garlic
3. Add black pepper, salt, Italian seasoning herbs ( u could buy it in the supermarket, just look for it). Cook it for a few minute until the red and yellow peppers are soft. Add them to the hot dog.
Option: change the sausage to Italian sausage. Add some hot sauce and nutmeg on the cooked red pepper, yellow pepper, onion and garlic. YUMMMMM!

My favorite is Guldens brown mustard and warm sauerkraut. Others are mustard and sweet relish, mustard and hot relish, mustard, kraut and relish. Definitely not ketchup, but some may like it. Other toppings include, cheese, diced raw onions, fried onions, fresh or fried peppers or potatoes, any style.

before you put the hot dog on the bun,firt put a little lettuce and diced tomato,onion,then the hot dog melted cheese and ketchup,mustard,relish.
