I'm looking for a way to research a tattoo and piercing parlor. I know there must be a way to check with health boards. I haven't had any luck on the State of Michigan website, can anyone help???

Go to the parlor and ask to see their papers they cant be mad for you wanting to be safe or you can go to the health depatment or their website and take a look around because those items are spose to be public and seen upon request if they give you a funny look just let them know you want to make sure they are reputable and current for your health and safety

every shop that is in legal operation has to have certification displayed. they are required to use new needles and sterilized equipment. the most important thing is to pick a competent artist to do the tattoo.
