I cook my fiance his favorite meal, get his favorite beer, and desert. He's not into the material things, but does enjoy a good steak dinner.

It's always good to take the guys out for dinner for a change, or cook for them. If you want to go all out, plan an entire romantic date from start to finish that includes a romantic dinner, a night on the town, and a full body massage back at home.
If you want to splurge, get a couples package at a local spa. Guys need to be pampered too!
Or if you're on a budget, put together a gift box with his favorite candy, a bunch of childish valentine cards from the grocery store all filled out for him, and something like a DVD, cd, bottle of wine, cologne, etc.

A stuffed animal, preferrably a bear. Usually one of those dancing or singing ones are more popular. And off course candy.
