If antivirus has an easy way for me to install it, I sure can't find it. Aren't the 'puter set ups a bad joke?

I am constantly asking for help here, like speakers are on, but not working,my invervideo windvd creator 2, what does CTF mean?, how to use photoshop elements 4, how to clean my hard drive and motherboard, using mp3, clean my ink absorber, keeping the security warning from popping up every time I click on anything, and my most previous: How to turn on my installed antivirus program. The instructions I've been given are what I've already tried and nothing works.

I went to start, clicked on run . . . clicked on msconfig and opened up startup. Now, how am I supposed to know what I'm looking at, read and understand which one will open my antivirus?

I never once say I have popups on Ok.

Never click OK on a popup. Just hit the X in the top right corner.

You've got SpyWare. You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.

These are cleanup tools. Ad-aware cleans files, and SpyBot cleans the registry.

You might run your Anti-virus scan.

Go to START and pick RUN. Type MSCONFIG and go to the startup section. Uncheck the programs that you do not need. Keep your Anti-virus checked.
