Are you a dyke. I would never ask someone that face to face. Moral, people will think what they want regardless of where or what your tattoo is. I think it is a great place for a tat, mainly because I have seen some very nice calf pieces.

Commentstogo, said how will you get a job with visible tattoos....well I get PAID very well at my job and I have very visible tattoos. I also work in an office environment. I also have tons of visible facial piercings. This isn't the 40's and 50's things are alot more acceptable. My Partner is fully Sleeved with tats and piercings and is a Veterinary Assistant.
Don't let society make up YOUR mind for you.
BTW- I am a lesbian and I think that those tattoos are VERY HOT on Straight Chic's.

Get the tat if you want. Hey get 3 more while your at it. I am a lesbian, with Tats. BTW I hold a very professional job as an executive assistant. I have trained w/and trained other branches on office prodedures, etc.
Tats do not define your sexuality you define it. I was a lesbian before I got 1 of my 12 tats.
You wouldn't believe how may executives have them. I know I was shocked to see my RVP with 2 of them but that didn't change my opinion of him. (I kinda new he didn't have that straight edge he wanted everyone to think about him).
Go for it.....oh yeah and DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE!!! so you don't pass out from the shock of the post poke.

soooooo many people have tattoos all over there body these days that just because you have one on your lower leg doesn't mean that people will think you are a lesbian. if the word (girl) in the parentheses up there means that it is a picture of a girl on your leg than that too does not mean you are a lesbian, especially if it is a pin up girl. that is very popular now for girls to be getting pin ups on them

all these answers and few very helpful if not even nice so my opinion is depends on what you think, if thats where you really want it then its yours do it or depends on what it is but who cares about family killing you they get over it and as far as a professional job you can wear slacks or long skirts dont let others judgement for what you do or want to do affect how you decide to do things so screw the negative people and get your ink you already know that its forever and that it wont be the same at 22 that it will be at 62 we know these things we see these things and we do it because we want it and dont care of others so the CHOICE IS YOURS AND ONLY YOURS LOVE DO WHAT YOU WANT GOOD LUCK

First of all, if you have any questions about something permanent on your body, get your answers and know for sure you are comfortable with it. After you have made your decision,,,,GO FOR IT! I personally put mine under my shirt ;) so I can show it when I want but it doesn't show daily. I love mine and don't care what anyone else thinks. It is such a personal thing with only meaning to you!

Haha. No.
People stereotype all sorts of tattoos and their locations. I have a tattoo on my calf and it doesn't make me look like a dyke or butch. I am who I am and tattoos don't change that. Get whatever you want and just don't worry about people's crappy opinions.
