gravelly voice
possible early emphysema
reduced immune system (more colds)
addiction.
changes in blood vessels compared to non smoker
(lack of circulation in extremeties)

I smoked for 25 years before I 'got it'
Some of the effects that I see are:
-wrinkles & other signs of accelerated aging (skin, face)
-stained teeth
-shortness of breath
-warts on my back and chest
-fatigue
