Diacalm tablets are good. Electrolyte solution is useful too, to recover your mineral levels.
Oh yes I'd forgotten about Imodium - thanks lady under me.
It works well.

To treat diarrhoea, drink plenty of liquid. Water, clear soups, and sugary drinks are ideal to replace lost water, salt, and sugar.

Eat foods as usual unless this makes matters worse. Sometimes bland foods such as bread, rice, and potatoes are better tolerated.

Anti-diarrhoea medication is available from the pharmacist.

Ask the doctor for advice if there's mucus, pus or blood in the diarrhoea; severe stomach pains; no passing of urine over a 12-hour period; if the diarrhoea is continuing after four days; and if there are signs of dehydration.

Immodium is the best thing to stop diarrhoea, which can be purchased from the chemist or from your gp.Make sure you take loads of fluids to reduce dehydration. You dont say why you have diarrhoea. If your not sure of the reason, such as an upset stomach, and it is prolonged, you should see your gp and take a sample to be sent off to the lab. This may show what bacteria is causing your problem. If it carries on, further investigations may need to be carried out.

Diarrhoea is your bod's way of telling you that something isn't as it should be, and is purging the toxins and waste from you.

If you can last it out, do not take anything until you're well and truly purged. If you need immediate relief, I suggest trying immodium.

But eventually the body will rule over you and get rid of the toxins one way or another. I would personally let the body take it's natural course, but it's not always that easy is it?

Try the immodium, and if that doesn't work (I mean, after taking SEVERAL immodium tablets), there are some calcium tablets that have have EXTREME anti-diuretic effects. I don't know the name of the calcium tablets, so ask your physician/pharmacist before you try these.
You should also check your foods that you eat. You might be eating something, or you might just be ill. Talk to your doctor first.

Imodium, but bear this in mind, if you have an upset tummy IE food poisoning your body is disposing all that for a reason, don't take them for too long

Immodium works very well. If you like yogurt, now this is hard to believe, if you have the runs it will stop them and if you are constipated it will relieve you. Pretty magic isn't it.
