What's a 'reasonable' Age-spread ... when a couple shares much in common (May-Dec)?

Who cares if he's in a wheelchair? I met my husband while he was still on crutches and we we're told he would only deteriorate. Dates should be fun! Women like to do things, not just hang out. The date should be comfortable for both people. Go out on the town, See a show, have dinner, take a moonlight stroll on a romantic boulevard. Remember it's what you have to offer that matters not what you don't.

I would have. I just never got asked. I have met several men through work who have had different reasons for being in a wheelchair. Very wonderful and strong people. I learned lot from them and their families. I think I would enjoy a the date because of a different perspective of life is offered. I also think they are more equipped to handle life, they have experienced pain and developed a skill for overcoming life's challenges. I would love to do anything I would have done on any other date. I say would have cause I am married now. Wish I had been asked...

Yes, I had a crush on this guy (he was in a wheelchair) when I was in highschool. I use to take the bus and I always say him on the bus, and I was sooo shy in highschool that of course I didn't have the chance. Now I have my bf and well "maybe" in the future if I had the chance to date a guy on a wheelchair I would. =) I wouldn't see why not.

I would want to go to an arts museum. Have an intelligent conversation and get to see how he thinks about certain things.

I definitely wouldn't turn a person down for a date just because they were in a wheelchair. Why? because it's not all about a persons physical attributes that attracts me to them. Of course their does have to be an element of physical attraction, but isn't a wheelchair after all, just a permanent chair? I've met many men who have been sitting down whom I've found attractive.
I don't think age has anything to do with anything, as long as the two people are consenting ADULTS, who are mutually attracted to each other.

1. Why not, even those in wheelchairs are human. They can go to all the places people who walk can. Go to the movies, out to eat even to an amusement park or beach.

2. I think depending on the age no more than 10 after that parent syndrom comes into play

Yes I would date a guy in a wheelchair. Who was my age 30, or up to 48.

I would. Doesn't matter if he's in a wheelchair or not. If he's a god person, then yeah, I'd go out with him. Couples can share a lot in common at any age. It doesn't really matter.

I would BE with a man who is on wheelchair only if it he is my man. And i would found something special for us to do.
There is no UN-reasonable age spread/gap to find something in common between two people.

When I was working in retail, I looked up the aisle and there was this fellow rolling his chair towards me. The sun was in my eyes, but it was like he was in this tunnel and nothing else existed. When we came face to face, and those incredibly bright blue eyes.........I just wished at that point that time could stand still.
I never saw him in the store after that day, but I would not have a problem with a man being in a wheelchair.

Age difference? I think that comes along with the quality of the conversations, if you two are on the same level or not. I wouldn't do it to make my buddies jealous.

if he had a really good personality and made me feel good about myself even in his own situation, then sure. it doesnt matter if you're in a wheelchair, or if you have an arm missing, it's not what counts... and it's not important. if they love you and you love them then whatever is physically missing, it is completed by love. =)

as for the date? well i'm a park sort of person, sitting my the lake, looking into the sunset, going on long walks at the gardens hehehehe.. anything to get to know the person have alot of talk time.

^^ yer.. and sorry i dont get what you mean by the last questions..
