I say you choose anyone but the best friend simply because he's your best friend. You could really ruin things with your best friend if you do decide to go with your best friend and explain to him that even though you two have feelings for each other, having each other as a best friend is better then dating and losing each other over whatever happened to end the relationship if you choose to get with your best friend. That is what I would do anyways. The other guy if you end things, it's not like you two had that great of a past to feel that sorry over.

hm, I liked this guy who was pretty nerdy, cute, but nerdy, but at the same time I had a huge crush on my best friend. But the nerd guy asked me out and I went out with him, but I still had more feelings for my best friend...hence, he's your best friend. He knows you better than anyone, and what akes you tick. I just didn't feel the same with the other guy... he didn't know me. So I broke it off with him, and now I'm with my best friend and been together since, and he still makes me tingley inside. Just pick the guy who makes you the happiest, and who you care about more and visa versa. Good luck honey.

Why can't you date both guys? It's not like you're entering a committed relationship to either one by just going out on a date with them.

Just say that you'd like to go out with both of them...well, not at the same time, unless you're into that sort of thing.

But dating is just that.....you go out on a date with different people to hopefully find the one you like best. It's that simple.

i do no longer see something that should probably be unusual approximately that. you're quite close in age, you like one yet another and get alongside quite nicely...what greater do you desire? i'm 20 and my boyfriend is eighteen...We began relationship at 18 and sixteen (and one grade aside). No enormous deal. Do despite you want - bypass out with him (besides the reality that on the grounds which you're only in seventh and 8th grade, i does no longer advise that yet) or stay acquaintances.

If I had to chose, I would most definitely pick the nerd...and to tell your friend that you don't want to ruin your friendship with him.
Good Luck

go for the friend, at least you have lots in common, besides it sounds like you dont have respect for the nerd, or you would not have called him that.
