I wouldn't, I'd just delete the email and your cookies. The FBI and other agencies are hard to convience that you're not apart of it when it comes to that kind of stuff. Just stay away.

BE VERY CAREFUL.

there are official government agencies, and even private non-profit agencies, that go to a lot of trouble to entrap people on made-up child porn charges. They can send fake advertising, phony e-mail messages, and then use those messages and ads, now stuck on your computer, messages and ads that you never asked for, as "proof" of your involvment in child porn.

Even if you delete the messages, they can leave 'cookies' and other programs on your hard drive that make you look like a sexual predator. !!!!

These frightening extremists can even go online in chat rooms trying to pull people into explicit conversations, and then later claim that the conversations were child/adult sexual conversations - even though both parties in the chat session are legal adults!!

Instead of finding real cases of child abuse and protecting real children in danger, they make up situations, pretend to be children when they are not (how sick is that??) and lure people into conversations that they weren't seeking, and then have them arrested - with no actual child being involved!!!

I can't tell you what to do, but it might be a good idea to hire a lawyer. Ideally, you'd establish proof that you did not ask for these messages - but how can you prove a negative?

Good Luck -

I know that with my yahoo email account that you can close your bulk mail. When you do that, all will come into your general in-box. From there, you can mark them as SPAM and yahoo will dispose of them accordingly.

It may be that you can also install some firewall software to your computer to filter / screen out sites of that nature. Sometimes, some software out there is targeted for parental control - so that you can make it very difficult for some of those sites come over, when you have "child proofed" your computer.

Just be aware that some sites cater to being sponsored by porn related internet companies. And, innocent as you are, they pick up your "cookies" and put you into their database for targeting for their advertising. You may just want to clean out your "cookies" in your hard drive on a regular basis, set up your computer to not leave cookies, or find some software that can help you to manage what cookies you leave, and which ones you don't.

It's a very strong industry, and just like solicitations from banks that want you to set up credit cards, these characters don't want to let you go. Once you find a solution, keep it updated, and you should have minimal trouble from then on.

If you are in the USA, report it to the FBI Cyber Crime Unit, or send them to the International Family Aid & Support Center HQ, (Bureau of Special Investigations) who will track down the point of origin. IFASC is fighting a war against child porn all by itself, and so far, IFASC is winning, and the pedo are getting caught.

i would try calling your local sherriff's dept and give them the email address and let them investigate, or try your local department of job and family services or child services agency. It needs to be stopped. Thanks for caring enough to try and get rid of this junk. i just tried typing in the search bar, report child porn and it takes you to sights where you can report it. here's the web site.

At the bottom of the advertisement in small print there should be something that says if you want to report or stop recieving the messages to click on it...
