It's an excellent camera if you can live without a spot meter. The Canon "central area" is only 10% of the frame instead of 2-3% like a true spot meter. Consider a Nikon D80 if you want a true spot meter. But I'm a Nikon guy, so I'd be expected to say that.

It's a great camera, really.
