The office secretary has gotten into a mental state where my coworkers and I all believe she is a certifiably paranoid schizophrenic, with delusions. She is especially targeting some of the coworkers with delusional accusations. Based on her mental state, and the fact that she has all of our social security numbers and personal information, I was wondering what kind of preventative measures can be taken. (I've already called credit issuing agencies for a credit fraud watch, but that is only temporary) Thanks, in advance!

write your HR and/or your immediate supervisor of the concern, to document what you think is happening.

If she does destroy your identiy, and you can prove that you informed your manangement, and your company, and they did not do enough to mitigate the potential danger, you have a good shot at suing your employer, for failing to reasonably protect your identity.

You can get an identity theft shield from my company and so can your coworkers. We will monitor it for you and if anything hits at all, we will restore it for you. You all migth want to consider it. It will take effect immediately, so the sooner the better. Also, You should probably report her.
