I have about 20lbs to lose and I know that if I can kick start it and see some results I will be motivated to keep going.

the best way is to eat healthy and exercise... eat slowly and stop when you're full... drink lots of water... no pop/soda...

You cannot lose weight really fast. Losing weight is a process that requires patience and time. It also saves you money.
You can safely lose 1-2 lbs a week without it all coming back when oyu get off the diet
consume no more or less than 1200 calories a day and get adequate exercise
all those commercialized diets DO NOT work
they will work in the short term but not in the long term
after you get off them, all the weight will come back
this happens with 80% of the people who try those popular diets

It is unhealthy to lose more Than 1-2 pounds per week. Most supplements do not work. There's juice diets where all you consume is liquids, but they are not safe or permanent. If that's what you want to do, I'd advise you to talk to your doctor about it first. Portioning your food is the best bet. I lost 30 lbs in 2 months. Cut out the sodas. Instead of 3 meals a day, eat 6 smaller portions. Good way is to count calories. More calories for breakfast and lunch. This will kick-start your metabolism. Working out will help a lot. Drink lots and lots of water, at least 2 liters a day.

Rapid weight loss can cause permanent damage to your immune response system. My friend went to Dr. Bernstein's Clinic under medical supervision and lost a ton of weight, but 6 months later she developed a serious infection after minor surgery, because her immune system was very low from the dieting. She very nearly lost her life! Don't ever aim to lose weight rapidly! Bob Greene's books are great to help you lose it the right way. Like "Total Body Makeover". Lose any weight gradually. It's not worth the shock to the body! I'm not joking!

firstly i am a man and was well over weight. as a truck driver i was doing little to no exercise and needed to loose the excess fat as my health was suffering . a fiend of mine recommended that i try the shapeworks programme from diet4you.uk.net, that was last October, i was 15st 1lb then and once i started the diet after just one week i was impressed by the weight loss. now i weigh 10 st 2lbs, i feel fantastic and i look great i would recommend that you give them a try it works fantastic

I did it cause i heard it from a friend and not only did i lose weight , I also toned up which was even better..My friend pointed it out to me cause she did it .. now we told all the girls and were all getting there ! I dont know why more people dont know about things like this..I think people look better when they are toned up rather than just losing weight and u feel better when ur tight etc !!

starvation is the only way to quick weight loss. but stable weight loss requires a calorie controlled diet and exercise. i know it sounds like a cliché buy it is true

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
