I have had this a lot, so I can empathize with you. It's upsetting, frustrating and hard to figure out.

Mine I believe is mostly due to anxiety, which I didn't even realize I had so bad. Also stress, and fibormyalgia.

I was injured, a single parent, under much stress, and began having all sorts of added seemingly unrelated problems.
It was diagnosed as fibromyalgia, which causes different problems in each person. Mine are anxiety, depression, pain all over, foggy thoughts, memory probs and confusion.
Also bladder, bowel problems, TMJ, much fatique, insomnia.

Don't know if you have any other health issues going on; hopefully only this one.

I'd say you are stressed out, your thoughts may be racing, and you can help it most by slowing down your thoughts and life.

Better nutrition helped my thinking so much.
A balanced shake each day with all the nutrients I need. I drink a Slim Fast not for wgt loss, but as a meal, and eat also normally. And a multivitamin.

Learning breathing techiniques and meditation helped me tremendously! Your might think that's too simple, but it works.
I went to a holistic, positive yoga class {not in a gym] and learned these. I began to swim to relax, and each day my thinking became clearly and I felt calmer.
I started to skip doing these things and it all came back.

I have difficulty remembering what to say, the right words, and feel like an idiot. My mind and mouth aren't working together.

Try not to panic, maybe laugh at yourself. Look for info on the web, and others with the same issues.

Very best of luck to you, and take time for yourself each day to do nothing.
Don't say you'll try, do it.

Sounds like thyroid. Just get a simple bloodtest from your doctor. If you are also losing hair, having constipation, dry hands and think you are so confused that could be it. Doctors don't do a routine exam on you because of your age. They jump to the conclusion that it is depression..which is also part of hypothyroidism.

Have a look on Mary Shomons web site and find out about thyroid disorders, see if you have any of the other symptoms of hypothroidism.
You just might need more sleep and relaxation.
Good luck

WATER. drink lots and lots of water through out the day. Sounds so simple boring and dumb, but it honestly works. Drink up to 8 glasses a day and you will be feeling great. No mid day burn out or foggyness. Not sure if this is your problem, but it wouldnt hurt to try it. if foggyness continues go see a doctor-good luck

I have been feeling the same way lately. I've started exercising more and eating right and it has helped a great deal. Get the blood flowing to your brain!

Its just stress, you are not old enough to have any age related mind dysfunctions. check out your diet, make sure you are getting plenty of protein and fatty acids.
If you take any medications have them checked.
Beer may also be part of the problem or lack of sleep.

Go ask a doctor, it doesn't sound right for someone so young. Could be stress or depression. If you are a woman you could be pregnant there is no telling.

I gather your diet is fine and that you are getting enough sleep. However, "Diffy Q", did befog me. Is math anxiety producing for you?

If the symptoms persist . . . and your life, diet and sleep are in balance ... .and it's not from math anxiety. . . you might want to go in for a check up.
