I met a guy who has a great government job and gets paid $60,000+. He has paid once and I have paid the other times. How do I go about him paying sometimes? Well, sometimes its my fault because I grab the check but today the check was on the table next to him and I played stupid just to see what he does. He finally picked up the check slowly and looks at it for a long time then grabs for his wallet. I said I will get it since I asked him to go but he said that I paid last time but gave me the check. I said he can get next time. What do I do now when we go out next? Should I say at the next outting that we just take turns picking up the tab or just let him start paying for everything? I dont mind paying but not all the time. I dont want to feel used.

I think a guy should always pay for all dates - period. and he should be asking for all dates too! this guy sounds like a user. dump him, find a better guy and start fresh, that's what i would advise! you could reciprocate by maybe helping to cook eventually, or getting him a tiny little present, etc...but he should be paying (and asking) for all dates. good luck!
